Around the World Concert
It was a wonderful Spring concert performed by our very own music director, Ann-Thu Nguyen and violin teacher, Ella Jones along with players from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, Daming Tan, Georgia White and Clynton Royle.

TIVONA WINS AT BENDIGO EISTEDDFOD!
Congratulations to our piano student Tivona for participating at the Bendigo Eisteddfod last week. Tivona came first in the ‘Quick Study’ section where she had to learn a new piece of music in just 2 weeks! Tivona also came 2nd in the 12 years under ‘Film and musical score’ piano section. Excellent results Tivona and all the best for many musical successes to come

Shilpa is an adult learner in piano and also enjoys singing while playing. She is very involved in the music world including playing in jazz ensembles and has now joined in the choir section of the Melbourne Royal Philharmonic.

STUDENTS’ EASTER CONCERT 2019
We had a wonderful concert on a sunny Saturday afternoon performed by the piano students. This year we also had a ‘Countdown to Easter’ raffle where students would achieve raffle tickets based on completing music tasks including memorising a piece in order to earn a Big Easter Chocolate Basket Prize.

I would like to congratulate the courage and hard work from both our young and adult learners and look forward to hearing many more performers from them to come.

It was at around this time of the year that we had our annual Students’ Christmas Concert. With familiar faces performing at the concert along with many new students who performed for their very first time. We would like to congratulate all students for their courage to perform beautifully and we hope they continue to progress over the many years to come. It was a wonderful opportunity for my students to be performing some of their favourite Christmas tunes from the familiar Jingle Bells to ‘When Christmas comes to town’ from the renowned animated film, ‘The Polar Express’. We hope to see them perform in many more students’ concerts to come
